barbara-ackermanColdwell Banker’s Barbara Ackerman Tops 2009 With $32 Million In Sales.

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate announced that Previews Specialist, Barbara Ackerman, achieved in excess of $32 million in closed home sales volume for 2009. That figure makes her the top agent in volume among all agents in Sarasota and Manatee counties. This is the second time in the past three years Ackerman has lead area Realtors in the top spot. In 2009, Ackerman closed 36 percent greater volume than the prior year, and her sales totaled 45 percent more than 2008.

“Barbara is an extremely professional business woman”, says Sue Wolverton, Regional Senior Vice President, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Southwest Florida. “Her ability to lead the industry throughout the years is a tribute to her flexibility, innovation and adaptability.”

According to Bob Stanley, Branch Manager, “Barbara consistently demonstrates a wide range in her geographic knowledge and her pricing competency. She carries a home sale inventory ranging from $400,000, up to her current marketing effort on a $13 million property in Longboat Key. Her clients find great comfort in this diversity, knowledge and experience.”

“I am very pleased with the results I have been able to provide my clients that have entrusted the purchase or sale of their home to me,” says Ackerman. “While the achievement is gratifying, I must tell you, the truly fulfilling part is the position this trust affords me in supporting my philanthropic interests in the Sarasota community. Sarasota has an incredible cultural base and it is a delight to be an active part of people’s lives.” Ackerman is a philanthropic supporter of several community organizations such as the Asolo Theatre, Moffitt Cancer Center and Sarasota Manatee Jewish Foundation.

Ackerman can be reached at (941) 387.1819 or Barbara@BarbaraAckerman.com.
